Location: For people from Warsaw and surroundings who work in the office once every 2 weeks, people from other cities once a month or less often

The role of a front-end developer is to create and implement responsive user interfaces for a website or application. This includes translating design mockups into code, ensuring responsiveness across devices and optimising performance. Work closely with back-end designers and developers to ensure a seamless user experience

Expertise:
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a front-end developer building modern JavaScript-based web applications

- Experience with React, Typescript and styling web applications using SCSS
- Understanding of RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Experience using Figma
- Understanding of basic UI/UX design principles
- Experience with React Material UI, Emotion and Cypress is welcome

Experience in Agile / Digital
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies
- Preferred experience as a developer in a cross-functional agile team

Project:
The company wants to develop a state-of-the-art application for accessing, visualising and modelling high-value proprietary datasets to support commercial decision-making.
- General stack: Microservice Architecture, Java 17, Spring, AWS, Bamboo, React, Postgres, GraphQL
- Work in a self-managed scram environment with a local team that is part of an international team. Working with developers, analysts and scrum masters

The front end developer will be responsible for transforming the product design and vision into working products and will have a direct impact on how users interact with the system:
Interpreting design mockups:
- Implementing the visual elements and design of a website or application based on the provided mockups and wireframes

Ensuring responsiveness:
- Making sure the user interface works and looks good on different devices and screen sizes

Performance optimisation:
- Writing efficient code and optimising resources to ensure fast loading times and smooth user interactions

Collaborating with designers and back-end developers:
- Working closely with designers to understand design requirements and with back-end developers to integrate front-end code with server-side logic

Testing and debugging:
- Perform testing to identify and fix bugs or issues in the user interface, ensuring a high quality final product

Staying abreast of industry trends:
- Keeping up with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development, including new technologies and techniques

Maintaining the code base:
- Managing and maintaining the code base of front-end components, ensuring code quality, readability and scalability

Documentation:
- Writing and maintaining documentation for front-end code, making it easier for other team members to understand and work with the code
